The
date was the 30th March 2002 and the occasion was Gwen and Randle's 25th
Wedding Anniversary. As you would expect there was 3 generations of family
present at the party including "THE" Randle Wilson Snr (as he quickly
pointed out to me when asking for his shindig), daughters Karen and Louise,
and young Kieran (check out the picture of the wee yin imitating Kylie's
dance from 'Can't get you outa my head', the 'la la la' song as he would
put it)
The lovely couple
met just over 25 years ago at a Status Quo concert (reason for the air
guitar dance picture here)
and have managed to stay 'status quo' all these years, a marvellous feat
in anyones book.
Great moments on
the night were Gwen & Randle looking as sweet as ever to the first
dance of the night, Randle dancing to his beloved Partick Thistle FC fans
favourite 'The Banana Splits' and the family shindig, all of which appear
in the pics below. |
