| With
the Chrimbo festivities still in swing and Hogmanay just around the corner
there was plenty to celebrate at this party.
One thing is for sure, this family new how to strut their stuff on the dance floor, and as you can see from the pictures below, Laura was hardly ever elsewhere. Unusual track of the night was The Skids "Into the Valley" which was requested for Uncle Gus (save overheating lighter and burning hand lighting candles whilst on cake by taking candle from cake, lighting and replacing onto cake) who literally bounced around the dance floor with delight. Amazing sight on the night was Laura's Grandfather, who is at least 127 years old, boogying the night away, and didn't seem to want to stop (probably ended up going to the "dancin" with Laura and her crew) A great blunder by myself was when trying to cue the next track, I quickly glanced up to see Laura and her boyfriend David on the dance floor, so I announced this to the guests in order for them to give the romantic couple an applause, I heard some confused muttering and looked at the couple........it wasn't David at all, it was her friend, DOH !
